This fabric I bought when I thought I could sew myself a skirt, but didn't want to waste this material as well.
This material I bought here. I loved the floral, and there is an eyelet design in it that I just adore.
I sent it to the tailor with a few pictures of what I imagined.
The blue skirt, I just described it to him, and we bought fabric at the fabric store attached to his shop. The dress I wanted was this. The peplum skirt was inspired by this.
So here are the results.
Just so you know, with the fabric and everything, I spent less than $100. It also took two weeks to make all of the items. Not too shabby.
Funny, when I asked for the exposed zipper, he asked several times to make sure I wanted the zipper to show, and if I was sure I wanted it to be red. Yes, in fact I do.
OMG - I've been doing the same thing. Going to the tailor that is. I was working on a blog post about it but have a few more things that are in the works. Your things look fabulous!!!
