Going to the Movies.

After a break of over three years, we finally made it to a movie together. Complete with the traditional milk duds and popcorn, it was a wonderful date. We went to see Inception, which was an amazing movie. I really enjoyed it; however, it was really long.  I won't say any more about the movie, because I don't want to ruin it for anyone who has not seen it yet.

I have decided that going to the movies is not my favorite kind of date, which would partially explain why it has been so long since we have been to a movie. I would much rather go somewhere that we can talk and spend time interacting together. I think our next date we will be looking for a skating rink. Doesn't that sound like fun? Or perhaps bowling. Nothing says hot date like wearing footwear that has been worn by complete strangers who may or may not have foot fungus. Just saying.

Glad to see you got in a hot date! My parents (after being married for 34 years) go to Wal-Mart or Costco to do their weekly shopping as their hot date :)

Hi Emily~
Thanks for stopping by my blog. Now that I've found you, I look forward to reading more about your adventures (including your fun date nights!) I really liked your past post that talked about your Plan A expectations for yourself in Tijuana!

Both of your ideas for the next date sound good....but I am especially fond of roller skating and would love to see some photos of you enjoying not only the skating but the great music they play. You are too cute. Love you all!!

We saw that movie last week! Loved it! So intricate and complicated. But I did notice that it was a long one as we left the theater and I realized how long my kids had been staying up awake late at night at their cousins' house.
