Ultimate Frisbee.

One of the first conversations Ben and I ever had was about Ultimate Frisbee.  I am not sure why we were talking about Ultimate Frisbee, but we were.  Here is a part of the conversation.

Ben:  "I am really good at Ultimate Frisbee."

Me:  "Oh, that's neat."

Ben:  "I don't mean to brag, but I am really good.  I mean, some people say they are good, but I.  AM.  REALLY.  GOOD."

Me:  "Wow.  How did you get so good?"

Ben:  "To be as good as I am, I'm sure I was born with it."

That was it.  I was pretty sure he was joking, but I when I would ask, he just said, "I'm seriously good."  The thing is, I have never seen him play Ultimate Frisbee or talk about playing Ultimate Frisbee.  When I asked him just the other day about it, he just said, "Someday, you will have to find out."

It is now a joke between us.  One of us will say, "I don't mean to brag, but..." and it has finished with things like "I have a perfect life," or "I'm really rich," or "I'm a really good bowler".

This is my brag statement of the day:

"I don't mean to brag, but I am TOTALLY famous."

Check it out.  Yesterday, I was featured on one of my favorite blogs:  {have a cute day}

This is a picture of Jack when he was about six months old.
 It doesn't have much to do with anything, but I love the green wig.

Now I can't wait to see how your family picture will turn out. That's awesome that you were featured. And I love the green wig too. :-)

Those pictures on that site were ADORABLE. And I agree that I cannot WAIT to see the family pictures on the beach.

And of COURSE you are famous. It is only right for it to be that way.

You guys will make the absolute most adorable family pictures in the world. I can't even wait! Because all of you are totally darling.

And you know what? I was reading through this post and when I got to the end, before I read the caption, I was all: DUDE, THAT IS *NOT* THOMAS. WHERE IS THOMAS? And then when I realized it was Jack, I felt better. :)

And we can say we knew you back before you were famous - and even back when your husband was still an unknown on the pro frisbee circuit. Post those photos once they're ready!
