Mother's Day is today?

Yes, that's right, I forgot about Mother's Day. We arrived at church (our first time going) and we were greeted by warm welcomes and Mother's day wishes.

I don't mind, I am not a huge fan of breakfast in bed (unless I am staying at a hotel or somewhere where cereal is not involved). I am a huge fan of two things though, treats and naps, and I was able to enjoy both. At church, the youth gave us a home made donut, and the children gave us chocolate muffins. They were both yummy, and good enough that after I had a few bites, Jack ate the donut and Thomas ate the muffin. I guess it's

After dinner, though, I got a nap. I woke up and felt like I should be at a convalescent home wrapped in a blanket, sitting on a lounge chair, I was tired and achy. I think that I could have slept for a few more hours, but I wanted to be able to go to bed at a decent time, so I forced myself awake. I don't think I am sick, I just suffer from dramatic awakenings.

Anyway, today was our first day at church, and again, two of my favorite things with our church here. The first, we can walk. It is quite hot and we (the boys) might melt(down) on our way there. We will at least walk home, where if the boys suffer from a dramatic fit, all we have to worry about is making it home. Second, church is at 10:00 which,in my opinion, is the best time for three hour church.

Church was great, the people were friendly and warm. I just wish that people (not just at church) would wear name tags. It would make my life so much easier. And everything is about me, in case you were wondering.

Happy Mother's Day to all the wonderful women in my life. If I know you, you are wonderful. If I do not know you, you are wonderful too.

I hope your day is exactly what you want it to be.

Happy Mother's Day to you!! I was with my mom (who was driving me to the airport) on Mother's Day and forgot all about it until the security guy wished me a Happy Mother's Day. Needless to say, once through security I had to call my Mom and repent. :)

Happy mothers day! I am so jealous of your 10 o'clock church! I think any of us with any Dexter blood suffer from dramatic awakenings! I do not do well with naps!
