You are needed.

I need help with two things.
  1. I am looking to buy some earrings and possibly some hair accessories.  I love buying homemade items, you know, like on Etsy.  If you know anyone or possibly know of a place that has fun accessories for not a lot of money, as I suffer from accessory ADD, please let me know.
  2.  I am trying to come up with costume ideas for a Halloween party for both Ben and I, perhaps costumes that go together.

Any ideas?

A couple of years ago some of our friends went at The Incredibles. I think Mario and Luigi are big this year, and you probably could make something pretty simply. Salt and pepper shakers? Sleeping Beauty and Prince Charming?
I'm no good on earrings (don't have pierced ears) and have pretty much given up on my hair, too.

1. This gal has cute stuff. She used to be in my ward.

I don't think her prices are crazy. Let me know if you end up ordering something!

2. Ben could be a pirate and you could be his wench. :)

Oh, Zoe, that makes two of us. I have long since given up on both earrings (constant infections! Why me?!) and my hair. Both are hopeless.

And I *love* the idea of going as The Incredibles!!! Ben would make a PERFECT Mr. Incredible, and you totally have the perfect Mrs. Incredible figure! Only thing... I don't know how you would get those costumes together. Hmmm...

The pirate thing is cute, too!! Would be an easier costume set to get together. But I LOVE the idea of Ben as a superhero! That just makes me smile...

Not sure about earrings but you could be Wilma and Fred Flintstone.

No idea about the jewelry... I find most of mine at street fairs. I like handmade stuff.
I've only got my husband to dress up with me for Halloween twice. Once we went as pirates, and once as a Bishop and his french maid. >;)

One of my all time favorite artists is Ayala Bar ... she's an Israeli jeweler and I have tons of her things. Fabulous necklaces, earrings, bracelets... You'd be able to find a lot of her stuff on eBay.

As for costumes - I'm all for the superhero theme. We once went as Hanz and Franz. I've seen other people go as Hugh Hefner and a playboy bunny, a pimp and his "lady", and one couple went as dice.
