The border.

Pictures of the border between Mexico and the United States.  It seems like such an insignificant fence that divides two nations.

I love San Diego and I love Tijuana, but crossing the border is really difficult.
When we first moved here, it was an enormous source of anxiety for me.  Just thinking about how crossing the border stressed me out, makes my blood pressure go up.

My anxiety is gone, but it is still a source of frustration.  Going North, coming back South, there are moments of frustration.  There are days when crossing the border will only take a few minutes both directions, but there are days that we spend more than an hour waiting.  You never know what is going to happen at the border, and that is part of the frustration.

Even with the frustration, it has been amazing to live in such a remarkable place.
